Compatability

The Daikin Airbase BRP15B61 controller is compatible with all Daikin ducted air conditioning systems manufactured from 2010 onwards. Additionally, Daikin ducted heat pumps produced after 2003 can gain Wi-Fi capability by integrating the Airbase controller.

Note: Daikin’s remote control system allows a maximum of two controllers. Since the Airbase BRP15B61 functions as a controller, it cannot be added to a system that already has two controllers. If your setup includes two existing controllers, you will need to remove one before installing the Airbase.

Installation Guide

Installing the Daikin Airbase BRP15B61 is straightforward for anyone with basic DIY experience. The product includes a complete set of installation and setup instructions.

Basic Steps:

  1. Turn off power to your air conditioner at the main socket or isolator switch.
  2. Note down the device ID number and password from your controller.
  3. Remove the cover of the fan coil’s internal electrical compartment.
  4. Connect the Daikin Airbase BRP15B61 cables to the P1 and P2 terminals.
  5. Replace the cover and position the Airbase near your router for optimal Wi-Fi connectivity.
  6. Restore power and download the Daikin Airbase app on your smartphone or tablet.
  7. Locate the "DaikinAP_ [your ID number]" Wi-Fi network in your device’s settings.
  8. Connect using the recorded password, then launch the app to complete setup.

Installation Tip: If you already have two controllers, you can "piggyback" the Airbase on the existing connection by removing the least-used controller. Alternatively, if installing near an existing controller, simply extend the wired connection to integrate the Airbase.
